Nicolae Feraru at the IU Romanian Studies Conference

Nicolae Feraru is a featured guest at the Indiana University Romanian Studies Conference to be held April 4-5 this year in Bloomington, Indiana. Together with Ethnomusicology graduate student Shaun Williams, Nicolae will conduct a workshop examining the role of the cimbalom in Romanian traditional music. Nicolae Feraru and his Romanian Gypsy Band will also perform an evening concert in connection with the conference.

April 4, 2014:
5:30-6:30pm, Oak Room, Indiana Memorial Union – Workshop with Nicolae Feraru and his taraf

8pm-11pm – Player’s Pub (424 S Walnut St, Bloomington, IN 47401) – Concert by Nicolae Feraru and his Romanian Gypsy
Band. Admission is free. Guests of all ages are welcome. Bring
